Commercial Carpenter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Carpenter to join our team at PeopleReady. As a Commercial Carpenter, you will be responsible for completing a variety of construction projects, including working with metal and wood framing and roof truss components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and understand blueprints and drawings
  • Use hand or electric tools to fabricate, cut, and install framework
  • Help place and secure wood during the building process
  • Install anchors and tethers on a commercial roof
Requirements:
  • Five years of framing commercial carpentry experience
  • Strong scheduling and blueprint reading skills
  • Knowledge of metal stud/wood framing, material management, metal doors, hardware install, drywall, trim, cabinets/counter tops, suspended grid, tile install
  • Reliable transportation to and from jobsites
  • Able to repeatedly lift 50 pounds
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Able to work in heights
  • Able to pass required background check
