Job Title: Vehicle Billing Specialist

Volkswagen of Stamford is seeking a skilled Vehicle Billing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of vehicle billing, including execution, posting, and reconciliation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills. A high level of proficiency in Excel and computer literacy is required, as well as the ability to learn company software. CDK experience is a plus.

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, vacation, and growth opportunities. You will also receive paid training, employee vehicle purchase plans, and long-term job security.

The estimated annual salary range for this position in Stamford is between $55,000 and $80,000 based on industry standards and cost of living factors.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of vehicle billing, including execution, posting, and reconciliation.
  • DMV and Titles.
  • Responsible for designated schedules to be submitted to controller by the 25th of month as per schedule listing.
  • Verifying lien payoffs at the time deals are posted.
  • Posting daily funding notices.
  • Timely costing of deals including verification of commissions as well as funding/DMV completed.
  • All charge-backs are recorded with timely follow-up.
  • Accounting functions to include, but not limited to: Dealer Swaps, Stocking of inventory, tracking of all invoices and receivables to ensure timeliness and efficiency, floor plan audit, etc.
  • Responsible for office duties, distribution, and time management for office personnel.
  • Additional assignments as needed.
  • Must keep in contact with Controller and advise of any and all needs or concerns.
