Job Summary:

The Flight Paramedic is a critical care specialist who extends the healing ministry of Jesus Christ by providing exceptional care to critically ill and injured patients in the air medical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Practice with a high degree of independence in challenging out-of-hospital environments and at regional healthcare facilities.
• Provide clinical care and coordinate transport operations with the Flight Nurse and Pilot crew members.
• Interact with a wide range of healthcare and public safety professionals in stressful situations.
• Manage subject matter expertise and work independently on projects to support Flight For Life operations.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures in conjunction with Flight For Life Administration, the Flight For Life Medical Director, and Flight For Life's contracted aviation services (FAA Part 135) operator.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support program clinical operations.

Requirements:

• Good keyboarding/documentation skills and general computer competency.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
