Job Overview

Position: Elevator Worker
This role is a full-time hourly position at a grain facility.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Loading and unloading of trucks or railcars
  • Operating grain drying equipment
  • Handling grain materials
  • Utilizing wheel loaders, forklifts, skid steers, and similar machinery
  • Employing computerized systems for data processing
  • Performing general cleaning and maintenance of equipment and facilities
  • Assisting operational staff and supervisors as required
  • Conducting facility maintenance tasks as necessary
  • Traveling to assist at nearby facilities when needed
Qualifications:
To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Commitment to maintaining a zero-injury culture and adherence to safety protocols
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Consistent and punctual attendance
  • Able to fulfill physical demands of the job, including prolonged standing, working in confined spaces, climbing, and lifting up to 55 lbs unassisted
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
  • Ability to work independently while also being adaptable to team environments
  • Professional demeanor and a positive, respectful attitude
  • Prior experience with computer operations preferred
  • Experience in maintenance-related fields preferred
