About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Coordinator to join our team at J & J Worldwide Services.
As a key member of our Cleaning Services function, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our client and company buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas of the building, including sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal.
- Stock bathrooms with essential supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
- Conduct thorough cleaning of storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other areas as designated by the supervisor.
- Dust and clean furniture, walls, and equipment, including rearranging furniture as needed.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using specialized cleaning solutions and equipment.
- Ensure that cleaning supplies are stored in a safe and secure area at all times.
- Complete a detailed cleaning checklist for each designated area to ensure thoroughness and accuracy.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
- Attend regular staff meetings and in-service training sessions to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with up to 2 years of job-related experience.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads of 50 pounds or more, as well as stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills to exchange information with colleagues and supervisors.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset to identify and address cleaning needs.
