As a service technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our clientele. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a diverse array of motorcycles and Powersports vehicles. We are looking for a motivated self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and rewarding work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire replacements, and brake servicing.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical problems in motorcycles.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to efficiently identify and resolve issues.
- Assemble, disassemble, and rebuild engines and various components.
- Perform safety inspections and provide informed recommendations to customers.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all services performed and parts utilized.
- Ensure the work area is kept clean, organized, and safe.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by clearly explaining repairs and maintenance advice.
- Collaborate effectively with all departments.
- Adhere to established processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions meticulously.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- A collaborative team player dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
- Possession of personal tools is required.
- Experience or training in Motorcycle/Powersports repair is essential.
- ASE and manufacturer certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- A valid class 2 driver's license with a motorcycle endorsement and a satisfactory driving record is necessary.
Compensation:
Starting pay ranges from $20 to $30 per hour, commensurate with experience. The work schedule includes Monday through Friday, with some Saturday shifts.
