We are seeking a skilled Cyber Liability Underwriter to join our team at C. Winchell Agency, Inc. in Morris County, NJ.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze and review the cyber security and privacy controls posture of new business clients to determine their eligibility for our book of business.
- Determine the proper insurance program, including layer attachment, terms, conditions, pricing, and decline or non-renewal of coverage.
- Service existing and/or new accounts, including quote letters, binders, policy, and endorsement issuance.
- Achieve aggressive production and loss ratio goals by analyzing complex premium and loss results for assigned territory by line of business.
- Promote company products and programs.
- Monitor industry trends to stay informed of new products, distribution systems, trends, and competitor offerings.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with brokers to generate profitable premium dollars.
- Undergraduate studies with a focus in finance, accounting, economics, IT, cyber security, and/or risk management.
- Three or more years of related experience as a cyber and/or technology E&O underwriting assistant, underwriting associate, underwriter, broker assistant, broker, or other related insurance position.
- Previous work with wholesale brokerages is also helpful.
