Job Summary:

This is a travel assignment for a Registered Respiratory Therapist to work in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in respiratory care and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care services to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
Requirements:
  • Must be a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner.
  • 1-2 years minimum acute care experience.
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle a multi-task environment.
  • Basic PC skills such as Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment.
