About the Job:

As a Clinical Laboratory Technician at St. Bernards Medical Center, you will be responsible for performing various laboratory tasks, including phlebotomy and specimen collection.

Responsibilities:
  1. Specimen Collection: Obtain blood samples from patients via venipuncture and capillary puncture.
  2. Laboratory Support: Assist in the preparation and processing of laboratory samples for testing.
  3. Clerical Functions: Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry and record-keeping.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree or higher in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: One year of phlebotomy experience preferred; sufficient combination of education and experience to perform some job duties.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs and push/pull up to 15 lbs. Must be able to stand for long periods and walk frequently.
