- Deliver high-quality patient care, utilizing critical thinking and clinical skills to make independent judgments and maintain accountability for patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, contributing to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, utilizing holistic approaches to meet their unique needs and promote health and well-being.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within three months of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or obtain within six months of hire.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
