Financial Analyst Grant Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst/Grants Accountant to join our team at Greater Baden Medical Services, Inc.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in financial analysis, grant accounting, and compliance. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing various aspects of financial analysis, general and grant accounting, including administering and processing cash transactions, accounts receivable, reconciliation, and producing various accounting and financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily activities, including cash reconciliation, general ledger account entries, subsidiary accounts, trial balance preparation, and reconciling entries.
• Process bi-weekly payroll transmissions, reconcile and record entries within the general ledger, and prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to the monthly close schedule.
• Assist with budget development and analyze monthly financial statements, reporting on variances.
• Responsible for grant accounting functions, preparation of required grant reports, and financial documentation maintenance.
• Monitor and track work hours, prepare journal entries, draw down funds as incurred for timely reimbursement, and analyze trends in budget expenditures.
• Prepare and distribute financial and cost reports to grant funding sources, internal departments, and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
• At least 2 years of work experience in financial analysis, grant accounting, and compliance.
• Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience with accounting software.
