Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Power Engineer to spearhead our electrical power engineering initiatives. This role involves significant contributions to our electrical power division, focusing on the delivery of comprehensive electrical construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of load analysis and construction documentation.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for material pricing and procurement.
  • Execute field assessments, factory acceptance tests, and commissioning activities.
  • Work in close partnership with Project Managers to maintain quality standards and budget compliance.
  • Offer technical expertise for project estimations and proposals.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in electrical design, focusing on detailed construction documentation.
  • Expertise in load studies, single line diagrams, and lighting design.
  • Familiarity with NEC, IEEE 3000 Series, and API 500 standards.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and power system modeling software such as ETAP or SKM.
  • Understanding of electrical power relay configurations (GE Multilin, SEL) is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Completion of the FE Exam is mandatory; PE License is preferred or the capability to obtain it within two years.
