As a Nurse Care Specialist / PRN, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
- Create personalized care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
- Communicate changes in patient's clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.
- Participate in discharge planning process.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A degree in Nursing from an accredited institution (Bachelor's or Associate).
- A current state licensure as Registered Nurse.
- BCLS certification is required, ACLS preferred.
- At least six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting.
