Are you a skilled Cath Lab Technician with a dedication to cardiovascular health and patient welfare? We are looking for a proficient and committed professional to become a vital member of our healthcare team. In this position, you will be instrumental in executing critical procedures and assisting interventional cardiology specialists during cardiac catheterizations and various advanced cardiovascular interventions.

Position: Cath Lab Technician
Location: Memphis, Tennessee
Schedule: Day 5x8-Hour (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
Duration: 13 Week Contract
Unit: Radiology / Cardiology
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support cardiologists during cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placements, pacemaker insertions, and other interventional activities.
  • Prepare and uphold a sterile environment in the Cath Lab, including the arrangement of instruments, equipment, and necessary supplies.
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs, electrocardiogram (ECG) readings, and hemodynamic data throughout procedures.
  • Operate imaging devices, such as fluoroscopes, to obtain real-time visuals of the cardiovascular system.
  • Administer contrast agents and observe patients for any adverse reactions.
  • Ensure the proper operation of Cath Lab machinery, conducting routine inspections and troubleshooting as required.
  • Maintain precise and comprehensive records of procedures, patient data, and equipment utilization.
  • Educate and assist patients and their families, clarifying procedures and providing post-procedure care guidelines.
  • Adhere to infection control and radiation safety standards to safeguard patients, staff, and yourself.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience with travel or 3 years without travel.
  • Compact or TN License required at the time of submission.
  • Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility.
  • COVID-19 Vaccine is mandatory.
  • Fly Vaccine is required.
