Phlebotomy Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist II to join our team at Quest Diagnostics in Lakeville, MN. As a Phlebotomist II, you will be responsible for collecting specimens from patients, administering oral solutions, and performing various laboratory tasks.

• Collect specimens from patients, including blood samples, urine samples, and other bodily fluids.
• Administer oral solutions to patients as required.
• Research and verify patient information, including test orders and medical history.
• Process specimens, including labeling, centrifuging, and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties, such as inventory management, supply ordering, and data entry.
• Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data.
• Maintain accurate records and logs, including phlebotomy logs and temperature logs.

• Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible scheduling, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training or certification preferred.
