We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trauma Medical Director to join our team at Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing medical direction and oversight to our trauma program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical direction and oversight to our trauma program, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to established protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement trauma care policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and reduce morbidity and mortality.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local and regional trauma centers to ensure seamless patient transfer and care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in trauma care and incorporate best practices into our program.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Board certification in General Surgery and completion of a fellowship in Trauma/Critical Care.
- Proven experience in trauma care and leadership, with a strong track record of improving patient outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
