We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our team at Novolex. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for maintaining production reporting and material issue/return transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively maintain production reporting and material issue/return transactions.
- Own the production reporting process and ensure complete and accurate communication to all levels of the operations team.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, along with Microsoft Office Suite knowledge.
- Shop floor reporting into PRMS system.
- Maintain scrap, productivity, and downtime reports on a daily basis.
- Closely maintain all manufacturing work orders.
- Maintain reports on inks, glues, and coatings inventory.
- Reconcile inventory cycle counts and initiate inventory adjustments.
- Post to glass wall as required.
- Conform to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
- Conform to Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures and policies to assure products are suitable for direct food contact.
- Responsible for reporting any product quality or food safety issues to the Quality Coordinator or Management Team member.
- High school diploma required.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, along with Microsoft Office Suite knowledge.
- 3-5 years' experience in a clerical position is required.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is required.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Must be highly sensitive to confidential information.
