We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our team at Novolex. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for maintaining production reporting and material issue/return transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively maintain production reporting and material issue/return transactions.
  • Own the production reporting process and ensure complete and accurate communication to all levels of the operations team.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, along with Microsoft Office Suite knowledge.
  • Shop floor reporting into PRMS system.
  • Maintain scrap, productivity, and downtime reports on a daily basis.
  • Closely maintain all manufacturing work orders.
  • Maintain reports on inks, glues, and coatings inventory.
  • Reconcile inventory cycle counts and initiate inventory adjustments.
  • Post to glass wall as required.
  • Conform to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
  • Conform to Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures and policies to assure products are suitable for direct food contact.
  • Responsible for reporting any product quality or food safety issues to the Quality Coordinator or Management Team member.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, along with Microsoft Office Suite knowledge.
  • 3-5 years' experience in a clerical position is required.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is required.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be highly sensitive to confidential information.
