We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at CommonSpirit Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient care within the assigned work area, adhering to established Surgical Services standards.
  • Contribute to the care of patients by following established protocols and procedures.
  • Participate as a member of the healthcare team, collaborating with other professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Assist with surgical procedures, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
Requirements
  • One (1) year recent full-time experience in an acute care facility as a certified surgical technologist.
  • Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technologist program, including certification.
  • Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year recent full-time experience in an acute care facility as a certified surgical technologist, including experience with trauma and open heart procedures.
  • CST certification provisioned through the NBSTSA, preferred but may be grandfathered in compliance with current Nevada Revised Statutes.
