Avera McKennan Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. As a NICU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to patients in the NICU
- Assume responsibility and accountability for patient care delivered on your shift
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure
- 2 years of NICU experience
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Competitive hourly rate: $46.50 per hour
- Varied shifts: 72 hours every 2 weeks
- Student Loan Repayment Program: up to $10,000 in loan repayment assistance
- Sign-on bonus: may be eligible for a $ bonus
