A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN
As an Automotive Technician at Coughlin, you play a crucial role in maintaining our relationship with customers by ensuring their vehicles are in optimal condition. Your expertise and integrity are key to building trust with our clients. You will diagnose mechanical issues, provide clear explanations of repair options, and execute the necessary repairs.
Regular maintenance services will also be part of your responsibilities, ensuring vehicles operate smoothly. Your exceptional customer service skills will make clients feel valued and enhance their overall experience with us. You will have the chance to work on various makes and models, continually earning certifications and expanding your skill set.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN
- Experience in automobile repair
- Familiarity with methods, materials, and tools used in vehicle maintenance and repair
While certifications are preferred, we consider multiple factors in our selection process. Experience in a dealership setting is advantageous. Are you detail-oriented and customer-focused? Can you communicate technical information effectively? If so, you may be an ideal candidate for this Automotive Technician position.
WORK SCHEDULE
This position typically involves a flexible schedule of around 40 hours per week, with no limit on hours for flat-rate technicians. Our service departments are closed on Sundays and operate until 6 PM during weekdays.
