Licensed Electrician

A reputable and expanding Electrical Contractor is in search of a skilled Licensed Electrician (Licensed in Indiana or a reciprocal state). The ideal candidate will possess a diverse background in industrial, residential, and commercial electrical work. Our company's growth has created a demand for a licensed Electrician with Two to Eight (2 to 8) years of hands-on electrical experience, ready to contribute to our ongoing success. We are looking for an individual proficient in bending conduit, pulling cable/wire, and troubleshooting circuits, light fixtures, and circuit breakers to ensure optimal safety and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in malfunctioning systems, testing electrical components and circuit continuity.
• Installation, repair, and maintenance of circuit breakers, transformers, generators, and security systems.
• Install MC cable, panels, conduit feeders, branch circuits, devices, lighting, and fixtures.
• Interpret blueprints, plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to ascertain work requirements.
• Organize work, lead teams, and manage projects safely from inception to completion.
• Continuously enhance knowledge through participation in educational opportunities.

Essential Qualifications:

• Preferred Indiana Journeyman license or equivalent experience.
• Two to Eight (2 to 8) years of experience in an electrician role.
• Self-motivated, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive demeanor and professional customer service skills.
• Willingness to engage in all facets of the electrical industry, including residential and service work.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Clean driving record.
• Proficient in bending conduit, troubleshooting circuits, pulling cable, and servicing transformers.
• Experience working with and being exposed to 240 volts.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex control systems.
• Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow and give instructions effectively.
• Knowledge of safety protocols.
• Familiarity with the National Electric Code and relevant local codes.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
