Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Healthcare Nurse to provide care for a special needs child in Pembroke Pines, FL.

About the Role

This is a part-time position working Tuesday-Thursday nights, 11pm-7am. As a Home Healthcare Nurse with Aveanna Healthcare, you will be responsible for implementing the client's prescribed plan of care, conducting patient assessments, administering medication, and providing education to family members.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physician's prescribed plan of care
  • Patient assessments and coordination of care
  • Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Compliant, timely documentation of care provided
  • Health promotion, teaching, and training of family members
Requirements
  • Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state of Florida
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
