Overview:
At KJ's Market, we're looking for a part-time Produce Clerk to join our team. As a Produce Clerk, you'll play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring our produce section is always stocked and visually appealing.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and offering product recommendations.
  • Prepare produce for display on the sales floor, including cleaning, cutting, and arranging products.
  • Stock, price, rotate, and place product on produce displays according to company standards.
  • Maintain the freshness and quality of produce products for sale.
  • Assist with unloading product upon delivery and restock shelves as needed.
  • Provide guests with product knowledge, preparation, and product weighing.
  • Maintain sanitation standards in the backroom, cooler, and sales area.
  • Communicate guest requests and temperature breakdowns to management.
  • Perform front-end duties to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with others and lift 50 lbs. regularly.
  • Ability to read and understand information and direction.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
