ChristianaCare Urogynecology practice is a renowned medical facility seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. Our board-certified physicians specialize in obstetrics and gynecology, with expertise in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.

We offer a comprehensive range of treatment options, including physical therapy, medications, and surgery. Our outpatient and minimally invasive surgical procedures are designed to cater to individual patient needs and preferences.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant to assist our physicians in the examination and treatment of patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering quality patient care, performing clinical and clerical duties, and ensuring seamless communication between patients and clinicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with virtual and on-site appointments, preparing patients for examinations and procedures
  • Perform point-of-care testing, injections, medication administration, and EKGs as required
  • Prepare exam/treatment rooms with necessary supplies and equipment
  • Complete patient-specific paperwork and ensure EMR accuracy
  • Handle patient call backs, sterilize medical equipment, and troubleshoot video visit issues
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A High School Graduate or GED
  • A recognized Medical Assistant Program certification or current Medical Assistant Certification from a national organization accredited by NCCA or ANSI
