Job Title: Social Worker - Pediatric Population

Thom Child and Family Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team. As a Social Worker, you will work with infants and toddlers who have developmental delays or are at risk for delays, and their families, to provide early intervention services in their homes and community settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team assessments to identify the client's developmental status.
  • Provide direct child development services and activities tailored to the child's needs.
  • Develop and implement Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs) with the family's input.
  • Document progress, assessments, and correspondence as required.
  • Provide individual and group interventions for infants and toddlers with developmental delays or at risk for delays.
  • Assess family and child strengths, concerns, and progress.
  • Act as a service coordinator for the family, scheduling, developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the intervention plan.
  • Provide supportive professional assistance to families and facilitate parent-child interactions to encourage child development.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited school of social work or a Certified or Licensed Social Worker (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC).
  • Experience working with infants, toddlers, and families is preferred.
  • Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development.
  • Ability to engage in meaningful, therapeutic relationships with children, parents/caregivers, and community partners.
  • Commitment to delivering individualized and culturally humble services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
  • Abide by all confidentiality and professional boundaries standards.
  • Good computer skills and strong documentation skills.
  • Current driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Bilingual/Bicultural a plus.
