We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Upward Bound Tutor to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As an Upward Bound Tutor, you will play a critical role in supporting the academic success of our students by providing one-on-one and small group instruction in various subjects.

• Deliver high-quality academic support to students, focusing on individualized instruction and guidance to help them achieve their academic goals.
• Develop and implement effective study strategies and learning plans to enhance student mastery of course materials and concepts.
• Mentor and support peer tutors, promoting a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure seamless integration of academic support services and promote student success.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring timely and efficient communication with stakeholders.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in academic support and student success.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, supporting the overall mission and goals of InsideHigherEd.

• Bachelor's degree or significant successful coursework in a relevant field, with a strong emphasis on academic support and student success.
• Proven experience in providing academic support services, with a focus on individualized instruction and guidance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and student success.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
