Ryder System, a leading provider of transportation and logistics services, is seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join its team.

About the Job:
  • Salary: $1040 per week or $26.00 per hour
  • Location: Nazareth, PA 18064

This is a full-time position with a second shift schedule from 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electronic problems, and repairing heavy-duty vehicles.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or technical certification, post-secondary degree, or technical certifications preferred
  • Basic tools required
  • Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred

The ideal candidate will have two or more years of a combination of classroom training and work experience in mechanical repair. They must be able to obtain a CDL within six months after hire and pass a Ryder drug test, DOT physical, Ryder road test, and background check.
