Admissions Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking an Administrative Enrollment Specialist to facilitate the selection and enrollment of qualified student applicants for school admission. The successful candidate will assist the School Director in providing day-to-day administration of basic office and school operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Comply with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, accreditor standards, and institutional policies and procedures.
- Receive and respond to in-bound inquiries and conduct outbound phone calls and emails to prospective students.
- Assess and interview prospective students to determine their needs and goals.
- Assess the prospective student's ability to meet Federal Motor Carrier regulations and determine eligibility for employment in the transportation industry.
- Develop referrals and personal leads.
- Conduct tours of the campus facilities and communicate features and benefits related to prospective student interest and program offerings.
- Discuss payment options with prospective students.
- Follow up on all inquiries that fail to schedule an interview or fail to show for an interview.
- Enroll students who meet eligibility requirements and complete all required forms for enrollment and orientation.
- Develop and implement a plan to follow up on enrolled students to confirm they start on their scheduled start date and complete all admission paperwork and requirements.
- Meet or exceed enrollment objectives.
- Prepare and compile all documents in student files for the first day of class.
- Provide employer and placement information to students and accurately record in the Student Management System.
- Update and complete student transcripts and prepare graduation certificates.
- Manage accounts receivables and payables, including preparing invoices and processing receipt of payments.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Prior post-secondary admissions experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook.
- 1-2 years sales and customer services experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including problem solving and conflict resolution.
