Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Technologist to join our team at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory therapy care to patients as ordered by physicians, according to established standards and practice.
  • Operate BLCS, HBOC and CERNER computer systems, heavy equipment and diagnostic heavy equipment.
  • Ensure National Board of Respiratory Care Certification in Respiratory Care and Alabama Licensure in Respiratory Therapy are maintained.
  • Meet the requirements for High School diploma or GED and enrollment in an accredited educational program for Respiratory Therapy.
  • Hold current BLS/CPR certification by the American Heart Association.

Requirements:

  • Respiratory Care Certification and Alabama Licensure required.
  • High School diploma or GED and enrollment in an accredited educational program for Respiratory Therapy required.
  • BLS/CPR certification by the American Heart Association required.
