New York, New York, United States PhysicsX Full time

We are committed to creating a unique work environment where talented individuals can thrive. At PhysicsX, you will be part of a fun group of colleagues who support, challenge, and help each other grow.

You will experience a truly flat hierarchy where voicing your ideas is encouraged, especially when they challenge the status quo. We value diversity and are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of sex, race, religion, ethnicity, nationality, disability, age, sexual orientation or gender identity.

Our team comes from many different backgrounds, but what we have in common is the desire to operate at the very top of our fields and solve truly challenging problems in science and engineering.

We offer a competitive compensation and equity package, in addition to plenty of perks. You will have the opportunity to make an impact and meaningfully shape an early-stage company.

If you are similarly capable, caring, and driven, you'll find yourself at home here.

We are currently looking for a skilled Electromagnetic Simulation Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of electromagnetics, particularly Maxwell's equations, and the underlying physical mechanisms.

Responsibilities will include working closely with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and clients to develop an understanding of the physics and engineering challenges being solved.

The successful candidate will also set up and build multi-physics models to simulate and understand complex real-world phenomena, automate simulation pipelines to enable fast optimization and parametric CAD coupling, and use on-premise HPC and cloud resources to accelerate high-fidelity models beyond smart model setup and meshing choices.

Additionally, they will own the delivery of technical work streams, potentially mentoring more junior colleagues, and work at the intersection of CAE and data science, generating highly accurate results and predictions in conjunction with advanced machine learning and deep learning models.

A key requirement for this role is a strong understanding of high-frequency and low-frequency electromagnetic simulation software, such as Ansys HFSS, COMSOL, Altair's FEKO, Dassault CST, or other EM Simulation Tools.

Candidates should also demonstrate excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with teams and customers.
