Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team at Prairie Flower Casino. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining our buildings and property in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Facilities and EVS Manager in daily operations, including repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure that premises and equipment are well-maintained, clean, and safe.
  • Follow established procedures for task assignment, equipment use, safety, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
  • Manage department work orders and requests efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, promoting employee health and safety.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements and company safety policies, and assist in training colleagues on proper safety techniques.
  • Advise management on repairs, replacements, and maintenance needs in assigned areas.
  • Work within budgetary constraints to be cost-effective and efficient.
  • Must be able to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and maintain a consistent attendance record.
  • Provide excellent guest service to internal and external guests as required.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
  • 2 years of related experience with working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and other repair work required.
  • Self-motivated and customer service-oriented individual with strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
  • Must be able to maintain a valid Gaming License and a safe driving record.
Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include standing, using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reaching with hands and arms, talking or hearing, and lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, increasing to loud when on the casino floor.
