Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams and providing exceptional patient care.

About the Role
  • Perform a variety of ultrasound exams, including cardiac, vascular, and general sonography procedures.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust technical factors to ensure accurate images.
  • Analyze sonograms and communicate findings to physicians.
  • Maintain records and documents in accordance with regulatory agencies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Sonography.
  • Typically requires 2 years of experience in a Sonographer role.
  • Medical Sonographer (RDMS) registration with Abdomen issued by the American Registry of Diagnostic Med Sonography (ARDMS) needs to be obtained within 0 months.
  • Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS-AE) registration with Adult Echo issued by the ARDMS needs to be obtained within 0 months.

This is a full-time position with competitive salary. Estimated annual salary: $85,000 - $105,000, depending on experience.
