Montessori Educational Program Coordinator

The Montessori Educational Program Coordinator will collaborate with the Head of School and Lead Montessori Guides to provide direction and oversight, ensuring that our educational offerings meet established standards and adhere to Montessori principles.


Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree or 120 semester hours of accredited college coursework, or a recognized equivalency as assessed by an authorized agency for foreign credentials.
Certification from AMS or AMI, or completion of a MACTE-accredited training program relevant to the assignment level.
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
A passion for enhancing the understanding and application of Montessori philosophy.
Exceptional interpersonal and mentorship abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to successfully pass a background check.

Within the initial 30 days of employment, the candidate must fulfill all necessary requirements as mandated by state regulations and oversight bodies.


Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Head of School, faculty, and staff to establish the school's objectives and uphold the integrity of the Montessori program.

Define the scope and sequence of educational programs.
Ensure alignment with AMS/AMI established standards.
Oversee the quality and range of classroom resources.
Research and evaluate products, programs, and services that support program goals.
Identify professional development needs for faculty and staff.
Act as a communication bridge between different program levels and teaching teams.
Organize and facilitate faculty and team meetings.
Coordinate special initiatives.
Maintain and update the computer-assisted student assessment system.
Manage the student assessment framework and its analysis.
Participate in all staff meetings as required.
Other responsibilities as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

The role requires the ability to stand, bend, lift, and supervise children in an outdoor playground setting for extended periods.
