Position Title: Piping Foreman - Commercial Construction

Role Summary: We are looking for a skilled and committed individual to take on the role of Piping Foreman within our Commercial Construction division. This position is crucial for the effective installation of mechanical piping systems on various commercial projects, while also providing leadership and guidance on-site. At Moore's, our Foremen are tasked with ensuring high-quality installations for our clients, all while maintaining a strong emphasis on safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficiently read and interpret coordinated construction drawings across various trades.
  • Prepare Bill of Materials based on technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Fabricate and install diverse piping types, including carbon steel and copper.
  • Oversee the installation of piping equipment such as boilers, chillers, and pumps.
  • Lead and mentor all field personnel effectively.
  • Exhibit exceptional customer relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrate strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Ability to operate necessary equipment on-site.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications; including Microsoft Office, Internet, and Email.
  • Familiarity with technology usage, such as iPads, iPhones, and relevant applications.
  • Knowledge of steam systems is advantageous.
  • Possession of a Journeyman or Master Card is required.
