Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our team at ReqOverflow. As a Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in performing clinical laboratory testing and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform stat and routine clinical laboratory testing in technical discipline areas, applying theoretical concepts of laboratory medicine using independent judgment.
  • Maintain licensure, competency, and regulatory compliance in Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology sections of the laboratory.
  • Perform non-technical duties, including specimen collection, processing, and referral testing, as required.
  • Support the department in achieving goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, patient satisfaction, and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • A 2-year/Associate Degree in Medical Technology or a related field is required.
  • A 4-year/Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology is preferred.
  • A State of Florida Technologist License is required or the ability to obtain a license during the interview process.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Technologist is required.
