Job Summary

UCLA Health seeks an experienced Attending Physician to join our team as a Staff Anesthesiologist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in anesthesia care and a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Examine and assess surgical, medical, and obstetrical patients in pre-, intra-, and post-operative anesthesia cases.
  • Develop anesthesia care plans and administer various types of anesthesia.
  • Collaborate with the Anesthesiology Clinical Coordinator to assign cases and work independently.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to Departmental standards and approved procedures.

Requirements

  • Valid California Medical License and DEA License.
  • Board Eligible/Certificated in Anesthesia.
  • Valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Demonstrated skill and knowledge in performing physical examinations during pre-, intra-, and post-operative surgical, medical and obstetrical patients.
