- Maintain and upgrade computer systems, applications, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Analyze and evaluate software and hardware issues, and recommend solutions to improve system efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support the planning, installation, and maintenance of new facilities and infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities, and implement measures to protect against cyber threats.
- Research and troubleshoot complex technical issues, documenting findings and escalating problems as needed.
- Prepare and maintain activity reports on support activities, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality support services to customers, meeting service level agreements (SLAs) and exceeding expectations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- One or more industry-standard certifications, such as A+, Security+, or Network+.
- Active Secret or higher clearance.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems administration.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen and understand customer needs.
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow ticketing system.
- Experience providing Tier 1 and 2 technical support.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.
