We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher and Kitchen Maintenance professional to join our team at STIX. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen facilities, ensuring that our dishes are washed and sanitized to the highest standards, and supporting our chefs and kitchen staff in their daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cooking and Food Preparation: Cook rice and soup for service, prep salad, vegetables, meats, and seafoods throughout the shift.
  • Dishwashing and Sanitation: Wash dishes in the dish machine according to STIX's procedure, stock clean dishware in its proper locations, and clean pots and pans in the three-compartment sink.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of the dish machine, kitchen lines, and walk-in freezer, cooler, and dry storage areas.
  • Supporting the Kitchen Team: Help busser clean dirty tables, maintain restroom and exterior cleanliness as needed, and perform rigorous cleaning and maintenance duties and physically demanding work.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Take out trash, break down boxes, and maintain the cleanliness of the dumpster area, follow all policies and food safety procedures, and complete opening, running, and closing side-work as well as daily cleaning duties.
