Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Shasta Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical center.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art medical facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, including cameras and scanners
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Develop and implement procedures for nuclear medicine procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • Current state license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • At least 2 years of recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine principles and procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
