Job Summary:

As an Aquatic Safety Specialist at Bellin Health, you will play a vital role in promoting a safe environment for aquatic participants. Your primary responsibility will be to guarantee the safety and well-being of our patrons through preventative lifeguarding, attentive alertness, and awareness of potential hazards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote a safe environment through preventative lifeguarding and attentive alertness.
  • Be aware of potential hazards and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with the Aquatic Coordinator to ensure effective emergency response procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for our patrons.

Requirements:
  • Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification or YMCA Lifeguarding certification along with Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, and First-Aid Certification required.
  • Ability to swim 500 yards using the front crawl and breaststroke.
  • Must be a minimum of 15 years of age.
