We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Children's Hospital Colorado. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our inpatient and outpatient pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and dispense medications, including non-parenteral and parenteral medications, under the direction of a licensed pharmacist.
- Take inventory and analyze patient-care area medication supply, replacing outdated medications and depleted inventory.
- Restock and deliver medications to patient care areas or clinics, as assigned, including automated dispensing machines.
- Perform charging and crediting of medication returns.
- Report adverse drug events and medication variances using the hospital variance reporting program (QSRS).
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- One (1) year of pharmacy technician experience
- State of Colorado Pharmacy Technician (PHAT) Certification or equivalent
