Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist CVT to join our team at UF Health-Central Florida. As a key member of our Cath Lab team, you will be responsible for monitoring procedures, ensuring safe patient care, and working as a scrub assistant.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor procedures, including diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies
  • Ensure safe patient care and work as a scrub assistant
  • Collaborate with the director/charge person to ensure smooth operation of the Cath Lab
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification
  • FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification or FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in cardiovascular technology
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
