Your Objective: Collaborate with clients to enable, enhance, and sustain cyber operation missions.

We are in search of seasoned systems engineering professionals to assist our clients in their ongoing missions by applying systems engineering principles throughout the lifecycle of systems. The selected candidate will work closely with clients to gather requirements and address tangible mission challenges. This role demands leadership in ensuring the overall technical integrity, quality, and completeness of the work performed, alongside support for project planning, assessment, control, and risk management of the overall program.

Daily Responsibilities Include:

  • Facilitating rapid prototyping, proof of concept, engineering, architecture, and emerging technology requirements for the ongoing modernization of client missions.
  • Conducting enterprise and thread-level analysis, engineering, architecture, and technology transfer evaluations.
  • Establishing and disseminating best practices and principles to guide architecture, system designs, software development, requirements management, usability, implementation, and deployment strategies.
  • Providing engineering analysis to ensure compliance with foundational requirements (e.g., compliance, architecture, quality, technical).
  • Engaging with product teams and stakeholders to implement established guidance, practices, and standards into effective processes and solutions.

Qualifications We Seek:
  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline with 20 years of systems engineering experience OR a Master's Degree with 18 years of systems engineering experience.
  • Experience in requirements analysis and strategic planning.
  • Experience in dataflow architectures.
  • Experience in risk management and risk assessments.
  • Experience evaluating operational and technical trade-offs.
  • Leadership experience in Agile/SCRUM team processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Software development experience.
  • Experience in Intelligence Community missions (Cyber).
  • Familiarity with frameworks (Git, Hibernate, Nexus, Eclipse).
  • Knowledge of data interchange formats (JSON, Apache Avro, XML).
  • Experience with data environments (Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, Splunk).
  • Experience with modern change management tools and processes (CICD).
