Job SummaryWe are looking for highly trained and experienced Wound Care Professionals to provide wound care services in long-term care facilities. As a Wound Care Physician or Advanced Practice Provider with AmeriWound, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and rehabilitation hospitals.
Responsibilities- Provide wound care services to patients in long-term care facilities
- Diagnose and treat patient conditions via physical examination and/or telemedicine
- Perform medical procedures, including debridement as necessary
- Communicate and collaborate with facility clinical staff on patient care and treatment plans
- Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities as needed
- MD, DO, PA, CRNP degree
- Board Certified/Board Eligible
- Active, unrestricted state medical license
- DEA license
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to build and maintain rapport with facility staff and patients
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency with EMR software
