Job Title: Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Burlington, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality care to our adult and geriatric clients in their homes. As a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work collaboratively with a Physical Therapist to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, providing rehabilitative therapy and education to clients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy services to clients in their homes, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Assist clients in achieving optimal physical well-being by providing education and support on proper body mechanics, safety, and fall prevention.
  • Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans, including goal setting and progress monitoring.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant, working under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and move clients safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
