Position OverviewThe ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional respiratory care to patients with various cardiopulmonary conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver respiratory therapy in accordance with physician directives and established protocols.
- Engage in the formulation and/or execution of comprehensive patient care strategies.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations as well as accepted professional standards.
- Foster positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members through effective communication.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic methods and objectives.
- Maintain accurate and legible patient documentation.
- Must possess a valid Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC and current CPR certification.
- A minimum of 18 months of experience in respiratory care is preferred, particularly in critical care environments.
