About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Staff Firmware Engineer to join our world-class team in Santa Clara. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining firmware for industry-leading ML chips.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop firmware for complex hardware systems, collaborating with our internal software development team to ensure seamless integration.
  • Take ownership of server standardization, updates, and documentation, ensuring our systems are optimized for performance.
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of real-time operating systems, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize system performance, working closely with our cross-functional teams to resolve issues effectively.
Qualifications
  • 6-10+ years of firmware development experience, with a strong background in CPUs, boot processes, UEFI, and low-level system components.
  • Proficiency in real-time operating systems and their design, with a deep understanding of firmware industry standards and bodies such as OCP, TCG, and DMTF.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively and communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
