We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Operating Room Support Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting in the surgical services area with cleaning, stocking, and monitoring the availability of supplies. The successful candidate will prepare operating room equipment and supplies, maintain inventory levels, and participate in room turnover and preparation. This position requires the ability to work well under pressure and within a team to understand timely delivery of the product needed.
The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and prior experience working in a healthcare environment. They must be able to work well under pressure and within a team to understand timely delivery of the product needed. The candidate should also be able to identify when critical equipment must be replaced for patient safety reasons and perform vital signs with accuracy and document in the hospital EMR per policy.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $45,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
