Position Overview:
In this role, you will deliver both direct and indirect patient care, employing the nursing process in accordance with established policies.
You will oversee patient care operations during the night shift, managing both nursing and operational activities within the department.
Collaboration with staff, physicians, and department leadership will be essential to address operational challenges and interpret hospital policies, ensuring that patient care requirements are met effectively.
You will also play a key role in recruitment, staff counseling, performance evaluations, and scheduling.- An Associate's degree in nursing is mandatory
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred
Required Licensure:
- A valid Registered Nurse license in North Carolina (or a compact state) is essential
Required Certifications:
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of employment
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required within 90 days of employment
Additional Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment is required
- At least 1 year of experience in a charge nurse or managerial capacity is preferred
