Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist - Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team.
About the RoleAs a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist - Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Your primary responsibilities will include performing nuclear medicine procedures, PET, and theranostic procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider for the diagnosis of disease and injury in accordance with established protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures (planar, SPECT, and SPECT/CT), according to exam protocol, in a timely manner.
- Maintain equipment by performing quality control (Q.C.) as required by imaging manufacturers, radiation materials license (RAM), or American College of Radiology (ACR).
- Communicate effectively with patients to identify their service requirements, ensure correct exams are performed, and establish rapport with patients and others.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
- Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT-N) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a culture of safety and excellence.

- An estimated salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
